Slots Tips/Strategies Archive

Proving yet again, that if you don't know where you're going, any road will get you there. This is my way of saying if you dont have a planned approach to playing the slots, you will inevitably loose your stake.

I have just returned from a trip to the soaring Eagle Casino in Mt.Pleasant Michigan. I went to play the slots without any particular approach. I used none of my own good advice just played willy nilly and the results were what you might expect. I had a couple of average hits but overall my money didn't last as long as it could have with a little disciplined play. I did play one controlled session on the nickle machines.

I also observed and confirmed once again the fact that there are "take" and "pay" cycles. I played a triple diamond nickle machine that was as cold as you could get but I stayed with it. After some 30.00 worth of play it started to "pay" I ran it up to 300 coins, down to 20 some odd coins and back up to 900 nickles. I continued to play untill the meter showed 500 coins. It was going in the wrong direction and it was time to quit. The "Pay" cycle, it seemed, had run it's course.

The basics were comletely ignored, the basics being, play five to seven spins and if you get nothing, move on. Or play the roll method, if you get the roll returned play another roll, if you don't, play another machine. However, if you just want to play the slots and forget about planned approaches, well, that's OK too, Just remember to have fun and if you win it's a bonus.
